If you didn’t hear about Black Entrepreneurs Day, it was a an event curated by Daymond John, the founder and CEO of FUBU and co-stare of ABC’s show “Shark Tank” in partnership with Chase for Business. During the live-stream the winners of the $250k grants, awarded by the NAACP were also announced. The winners were:

The event created a platform for celebrity black business owners like Shaquille O’Neal, Gabrielle Union, LL Cool J, Ice T and others to share their own business stories in a one on one discussion with John. There were also live performances from Chance the Rapper, Questlove and DJ Diesel.
If you did miss out, just know this was the inaugural event. John in planning to hold the event again in 2021.
